My first visit to Ribble Steam Railway (Saturday, 29th March 2025). It was Gala day, and the star of the show was No. 20, built by Sharp Stewart & Co. for the Furness Railway. Belated Happy New Year, everyone! The attached photos are from Boxing Day on the East Lancs Railway. As night began to fall there were very atmospheric scenes at Heywood station. Battle of Britain Class 34081 – 92 Squadron was rostered for the “Mince Pie Special.” The East Lancs Railway is 34081’s new home previously being located at Nene Valley Railway.

Ta, This was one of my engines late 1950s – 60s on Exmth jct shed. Nice to see still going strong, Another ACE engine on north Devon runs. Not unlike Blackmore vale or 257 squadron etc history.
