Visited East Lancs Railway today at the Legends of Steam 2 event. Although it was disappointing that the visit of 60163 Tornado was cancelled its replacement was a bonus for me because I haven’t seen 61306 Mayflower before. The photographs show Mayflower arriving at Heywood having crossed the level crossing on its way from Crewe via Castleton and Hopwood. The Thompson Class B1 looked immaculate and was a pleasure to see. Other locos at the event: –
