This Easter, families travelling via Northern can access huge savings on days out across the network.

The ‘Family Fare’ offer has been expanded across more routes, meaning more families can access affordable days out during the holiday.

The single ticket covers two adults and up to four children under 15 travelling across Lancashire, Teesside, and Yorkshire.

For example, a few of the expansion routes include:

  • Doncaster – Leeds – with a Family Fare of £6.50, saving £42.50 (86%)
  • Preston – Leeds – with a Family Fare of £11.20, saving £67.70 (86%)
  • Liverpool Lime Street – Blackpool North – with a Family Fare of £10, saving £62.90 (86%)
  • Morpeth – Newcastle – with a Family Fare of £3.80, saving £17.80 (82%)

There are over 200 routes to choose from and utilise the Family Fare, with full details on routes available on their website.

“Families are feeling the cost-of-living pressures now more than ever, so expanding our Family Fare offer ahead of the Easter holidays is an important way we can help.

“These new routes give families more choice and better value, whether they’re planning a big day out, visiting loved ones or simply exploring somewhere new across the North.”
