Greater Anglia is once again inviting its staff and customers to donate towards its annual charity Easter Egg collection.
Set up by Michael King, a Greater Anglia Ticket office clerk at both Sawbridgeworth and Stansted Mountfitchet stations, the Easter Egg collection is now in its 6th year. Staff and customers are welcome to donate large or small Easter eggs, Easter chocolates and Easter-themed games for families and children who are in care in hospitals across West Anglia.

In 2025, almost 700 Easter Treats were given out to children and families in hospitals, thanks to the generosity of staff and customers.
Donations for the 2026 Easter Egg charity collection will open from Monday, 26th January and run until Sunday, 22nd March. Staff and passengers can donate unopened boxed Easter Eggs, Easter-themed chocolates and Easter activities/games for children at Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow Mill, Harlow Town, Stansted Mountfitchet and Sawbridgeworth stations.
The donated items will be gifted to children at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow and the Enders Touch Foundation, giving children a special Easter to Remember.

“This appeal makes such a difference, and I would like to say a huge thank you in advance to everyone who is able to donate.
“All the gifts go directly to Enders Touch Foundation and the children’s ward at Princess Alexandra Hospital, helping to bring some comfort and joy to children and their families at what can be a very difficult time, particularly around Easter.”
Michael King, event organiser and Relief Ticket Office Clerk at Sawbridgeworth and Stansted Mountfitchet stations
