ScotRail train driver Sean Kennedy is taking on another charity event, following on from his completion of the Scottish Half Marathon, raising £300.

He will now be taking on a 120-mile cycling challenge to raise money for Age Scotland.

The biking challenge will start at Glasgow Queen Street tomorrow (3rd September).

Age Scotland will be at Queen Street on the day with an information stand and hosting a raffle to raise further funds for the charity.

This event is also part of the three-year partnership with Age Scotland and Scotland’s Railway, which in its first year raised over £330,000.

“After completing the half marathon, I wanted to do even more to raise funds and awareness for Age Scotland.

“This cycle is a big personal challenge, but knowing it will support such an important cause makes every mile worthwhile. I’m proud to do my bit on behalf of Scotland’s Railway.”
