Families across Scotland are being encouraged to make the most of the Easter holidays with ScotRail’s Family Pass, a cost-effective way to explore the country by train.

Valid for travel starting on any day between 3 and 13 April 2026, the ticket gives families the flexibility to plan trips around their schedules.

Priced at £60, the pass offers seven consecutive days of unlimited travel for up to two adults and four children, providing an affordable alternative to car journeys during the busy holiday period.

In a new development this year, the Family Pass can be purchased online, making it easier than ever to organise travel in advance.

The pass allows unlimited journeys across Scotland on all ScotRail services, with weekday travel available after 09:15 am and unrestricted travel at weekends. It opens up access to a wide range of destinations, from vibrant city centres to scenic countryside and coastal spots.

By choosing rail travel, families can avoid fuel expenses, parking challenges, and congested roads, instead enjoying a more relaxed and scenic journey together. The Family Pass is designed to help create memorable, stress-free days out throughout the Easter break.
