Greater Anglia is encouraging people to travel on their New River Line through a new colouring book.

The New River Line Community Rail Partnership (CRP) has produced the colouring book so that families can explore the line and keep children entertained.

The line, which runs between Broxbourne and Hertford East, is operated by Greater Anglia with the CRP supporting.

The book has been illustrated by Jen Kimber and highlights the towns along the line, including the 5 stations on the route and beloved landmarks.

The book is free and can be found in Hertford Town and Tourist Office and in libraries in Ware, Hoddesdon and Hertford.

Greater Anglia and the CRP hope that this will promote the line and increase the number of visitors to the towns along the line, and boost the local economy.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with a local artist and showcase the heritage and beauty of our towns in such a creative way, we hope it encourages people to explore the area.”

Katie Goldthorpe, New River Line CRP Officer
