The West Somerset Railway are inviting visitors to participate in an all-new interactive Christmas event for its 2024 festive running season.

In partnership with the Experiences Group, The West Somerset Railway has crafted an event that embodies all the elements of a traditional pantomime but with a unique twist—it takes place aboard a heritage steam train, journeying through the stunning landscapes of the Quantock Hills.

Following the final run of the beloved Winterlights train in the 2023 Christmas programme, the railway aims to launch a new, enjoyable, and family-oriented event that will succeed the enchantment of the Winterlights services, creating enduring holiday memories for passengers young and old.

The Panto Train is scheduled to operate twice daily on select dates from Saturday, December 14th, to Wednesday, January 1st.
