2 x Goods trains at Shap summit while waiting for 45407 in the WCME 28th February
1st one was the 6074 Prestwick b.p Oil to Grain oil Terminal operated and hauled by 66689
The 2nd one was the 4S43 Daventry DRS (Tesco) to Coatbridge (DRS) operated and hauled by Class 68 loco
I also got early this morning whilst waiting for 45407 Castleton Hopwood…

King Charles visits clitheroe 9th February
Hi all hope your all ok,
I saw something on the news about King Charles visiting Clitheroe tomorrow (on Monday 9th February), and apparently it said he was coming on the royal train, do you know if there are any timings or what time he will be passing through Billington tomorrow ? As my aunty wants to know what time will he be passing…

Timings are kept private due to security reasons and wont be available on any of the usual places. I do know however from a friend that it has been through Preston 🙂

LMS black 5 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier
LMS Black 5 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier renumbered and done up as 1225 stands at Leeming bar with the Polar Express getting ready to set off on its first run. I also managed to get on the footplate and I asked the footplate crew if they could do a long whistle at where I was going next. 7/12/25
