Now that 2025 has gone, I have looked back on all the memories from the Bury Ski Jump (1 in 36 gradient climb) and compiled a selection of locomotives giving it their all over the climb. From steam to diesel and to both, it is worth a watch. Thanks 🙂

The Class 66 Private Charter is cancelled due to a oroblem with the train at Stewards Lane early this morning on the run from london – kwvr, therefore cancelling all the other services

I agree with @Mike_Ashworth but it does say ‘Pathed As’

This can change on the day or it can be steam hauled as well. There have beein times when 60mph pathing has been diesel hauled close to 90 mph. Just saying that the locos will probably be 57313/57601/57314 operating with 60163/34067 as the steam
