Metrolink Testing Battery Light Rail Vehicle On ELR
I have been informed by Manchester Metrolink that they are now testing a light rail vechicle fitted with batteries under the high floor on the connected but not wired East Lancashire Railway.
They where seen on Tuesday testing and will carry on testing on Wednesday morning.
They are early indications that the tests are going well.

@johns When ELR took over the line there was a clause that GMT now The Bee Network could lease the line.
