I do go on a bit at times! But relax when others on ‘here’ add a couple photo’s to render my rail yarns a past event! They scoot off the ‘Locostop’ screen to fall into obscurity under my computer’s desk! I cant get my feet in there for Advent pictures! And letters that try to spell words 10 mile long? Digital past events to make one wonder just how heavy is this new digital age? 100 ton engines flop to the floor! Harry dies, But Tom or Dick take his or her space! In 500 years some kid will be fascinated by the means of transport we leave behind! And it wont be diesel! They will be conveyed by some Brunel scoop system totally Carbon free! In a 1000 years time a ‘step on’ ‘step off’ underground system? Or will a large universal object from space set us all back to the beginning? Some might say ‘The fist of God’? To start all over again? Back to steam! For that 400 year old coal deposit that’s just left resting under our feet a bit longer? But maybe those other pictures just push the rest of us into obscurity? ‘Dunno’ its just a Weight off my mind is all!
