      The Christmas Cheshireman and Explorer

      22nd November 2025

      We were treated to two tours heading to the Chester Christmas Market to day – The Cheshireman hauled by 44871 and the Explorer hauled by two Class 37’s (the leading loco was 37669)

      Photos taken at Ruabon. Amazing difference 30 minutes makes – the black five came up through the mist but the 37’s came through in almost perfect light

          Very nice photos Peter well done good camera work as usual love the shot in the mist as 1. The mist looks like snow. 2. It looks like it’s coming out of snow
