Saturday 5th July – the North Wales Coast Express heads home from Llandudno passing Bagillt about 30 minutes late. It was a troubled journey with long delays on the outward journey from Euston to Crewe and then being delayed another hour or so with loads of loco movements in between service trains before 45212 could finally be attached and departing after another service train went ahead.. I feel sorry for the paying passengers who must have spent a lot of time sitting on a stationary train!
Such a pity the WC trains have to run with Mark II intercity coaches
