I was lucky enough to get along to her 100th birthday celebration at Didcot in March last year, and caught up with her again this May starring alongside 60103 Flying Scotman for Rivals Reunited. (I&#8217;m not going to say which one&#8217;s my favourite, but you can maybe hazard a guess.)</p>

<p>We are at The East Lancashire Railway and we see 50015 &#8216;Valliant&#8217; absolutely hammering it away from Irwell Vale with lots of thrash and tones. I was onboard this service so I was unable to get the northbound departure (I took the train to Rawtenstall and back instead) </p>

<p>This was a bonus shot from the weekend after the Autumn Steam Gala. I wanted to get a &#8216;departure&#8217; from Irwell Vale instead of a pass through and the light shone on me as I got what I was looking for.
