West Coast Railways are now using the dry weather excuse as they simply do not have enough suitable and serviceable steam locos to meet their commitments.
Terrible excuse, it’s been raining all day around the southwest
But late to reply, we had diesel in Blackburn when it was pouring it down…
That’s because the carriages and the other usable engines dont have the same braking.
