This weekend, between the 20th and 22nd March, passengers in South Wales have been advised to check before they travel as track work will be carried out.
Track will be replaced between Newport and Cardiff Central, and additional work will be carried out near Cardiff Queen Street on the 22nd.
All services between Cardiff and Newport and Valleys services on Sunday will be affected throughout the day, with buses in place to keep passengers on the move.

Staff will be at both Cardiff Central and Newport with hand-held pay-as-you-go validators, making it easier for passengers as they can still tap in and out at stations.
There will be staff around checking that passengers have tapped correctly when you get on and off replacement buses.
Passengers are advised to check journeys online.
“We’re encouraging all passengers travelling between Cardiff and Newport to check their journey in advance, as many of our services will be affected throughout the weekend. This includes trains to Manchester, Holyhead, Cheltenham, Ebbw Vale, Maesteg and some Valleys services on Sunday.
“To help keep passengers moving, we’ll be running a comprehensive rail replacement bus service. We’ll have buses running roughly every five minutes between Cardiff and Newport, with an additional four buses per hour in each direction serving the Valleys blockade.
“Our teams will be on hand throughout the weekend to support customers and help them reach their destination.”
