The British Transport Police are investigating an assault on an Elizabeth Line train and have released CCTV images to assist their investigation.

At around 03:15 on the 1st January, a man was assaulted by two men, who repeatedly punched and kicked him in the head onboard an Elizabeth Line train to Shenfield.

The two men then pushed the victim off the train at Seven Kings before continuing on their journey to Shenfield.

The victim sustained heavy bruising to his head and a fractured hand.
