The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway has announced that it will be celebrating the new year with a 70s-themed murder mystery.

The Murder on the Dance Floor will take place on the 31st December with a 6:30 pm departure time.

Attendees will be able to enjoy a disco-themed night with colourful costumes and a three-course meal while they figure out the whodunnit.

Passengers will be able to choose a starter, main and dessert, with vegetarian options available. They will be greeted with a glass of prosecco and receive tea, coffee, and after eight minutes.

Those attending are advised to arrive at 6 pm ready for the 6:30 pm departure, with the train arriving back at 9 pm.
