Yesterday (30th September), Northern launched their three-day flash sale, which will run until the 2nd October.

Passengers have already been snapping up some of the 3 million tickets up for grabs.

The bargain tickets of just £2 for adults and £1 for children are valid for travel between the 6th October and the 24th October.

Early figures gathered by Northern have revealed the top locations for tickets have included Manchester, Blackpool, York, Leeds, Preston, Carlisle, Hull, Newcastle, Liverpool, and Sheffield.

Tickets are still available and can be bought through the website, app or at ticket offices and machines.
