“With 60,000 runners set to descend upon Newcastle for this year’s Great North Run, and no doubt many more cheering them on, we are delighted to be operating an additional five services to the city.
We are expecting these services to be extremely popular, so encourage our customers to book ahead and reserve their seat. Everyone at LNER wishes our colleagues running for CALM, and all other participants, the very best of luck for the big day.”
