TS Controllers has now made available full support for Train Sim World 5 from its full range of controllers, both old and new.
The support is available through the TSW5 programming interface, which is fully developed in-house and supported, rather than relying on third-party, unsupported software.
Users do not need to adjust any settings to use the controllers for each add-on as they are fully plug and play.
Each train is detected automatically when it is loaded in the sim, with each controller parameter already having been mapped to the in-cab controls of each add-on.
The Class 66 Stack has a new Power Brake Controller (PBC) mode, which is currently only available in TS Classic; TS Controllers is working to make each controller more flexible.
The controller can be made to work like a Power Brake Controller in any unit or loco that uses a PBC by switching the controller to PBC/Reverser mode in the main tab, then selecting the amount of throttle steps the PBC has if it isn’t automatically detected. This enables the controller to work like a PBC in any unit or loco that uses a PBC, with the four throttle steps and four brake steps being automatically mapped appropriately to the best user experience.
Version 3 has a range of changes and improvements including:
- Layout tweaks and a simpler experience.
- In the advanced tab, a new controller tester function provides a visual representation of what the controller is doing.
- Bugs have been fixed and there is better error reporting.
- Support is provided for 507/508 reskin.
- APW313 door panel behaviour has been fixed.
The new version can be downloaded here.
