After Dinosaurs invaded the North Yorkshire Moors Railway over Easter, in May, the railway is set to welcome everybody’s favourite bear, Paddington.

The famous bear from Peru will visit the railway during the Early Spring Bank Holiday on Saturday and Sunday, 3rd and 4th of May.

On both days, there will be an unmissable opportunity to meet the marmalade-loving bear, both for long-time fans and little ones being introduced to him for the first time.

As well as enjoy a magical moment with Paddington, visitors can enjoy the experience of travelling behind steam and heritage diesels through some of the country’s most breathtaking scenery.

As well as meeting Paddington, families can experience other special events including luggage tag stamping and storytelling.

The weekend is bound to be very popular, so the railway advises booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Adult Day Rovers cost £54.50 and Child Day Rovers cost £13.50; these include a voluntary donation of 10% or more.

Visitors choosing a Day Rover ticket will receive a Thank You Voucher worth up to 15% of their paid fare that they can spend at the railway during their visit.
