October has arrived and it’s that time of year again. Railways around the UK are preparing for their ‘Halloween Specials’ for 2016, though some trains are now fully booked , plenty of seats remain. Here is our first of four featured railways.
The Talyllyn Railway are running trains for a spooky evening into the woods at Dolgoch. All Children will be given a spookily good goody bag upon arrival.
Kings Café at Tywyn Wharf station will be serving a 2 course Halloween feast. Also a vegetarian option is available.
In addition there is a competition for the best carved pumpkin lanterns, prizes will be given for the best ones.
Fancy Dress is also welcome, for children of all ages!
28th, 29th, 30th & 31st October 2016:
The Special Halloween Steam & Scream Trains depart Tywyn Wharf at
5.15pm and 7.15pm*
*7:15pm train does NOT run on the 29th
The adventure will last around 2.5 hours.
