Easter is this weekend, and many railways are celebrating with lots of events taking place. Here are a few EGG-cellent ideas if your stuck for ideas on your Easter break.

The East Lancashire Railway, in Bury, North West England, is having some events to celebrate Easter over this weekend and next week.

The Ffestiniog Railway, North Wales is holding many different events and activities for the Easter break.

• Footplate rides on Darjeeling Himalayan loco 19 at Porthmadog Harbour Station.

The Talyllyn Railway, Mid Wales is holding many different events and activities for the Easter break. Kids activities from 10 am to 4 pm other the weekend.

• The Easter Bunny visits Tywyn Wharf station. Children can join the Easter Egg hunt with a special prize for the winner! This is held on the 27th March.
• Kids ride for a quid all weekend.

Keighley & Worth Valley Railway

The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, in Yorkshire, is having some events to celebrate Easter over this weekend and next week.

• Giant Easter egg hunt along the railway.  Travel up and down the line on the steam train and see if you can spot our brightly coloured eggs scattered along the line.
• Face painting at Ingrow West
• A fun filled activity booklet for the kids to fill out.
