Full Description

The Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways held their WHR Centenary Gala between the 23rd and 25th June 2023.

Featuring an intensive timetable, the weekend saw the FF&WHR come together with the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, which is also in Porthmadog.

Hunslet Russell headed over the Welsh Highland Railway, whilst Lilla and Blanche headed over to the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway.

The DVD features a number of locomotives in action, including Russell, Gelert, Emma, Glaslyn, Garratt’s 87, 130 and 143, Merddin Emrys, David Lloyd George, Blanche, Lilla, Welsh Pony, Lyd and Caernarfon Castle.

The DVD features around 4 hours of footage from everyday of the gala. Look out for a spectacular run with Lyd and Russell, double headers, freight, shuttles and lots lots more.
