Description
This DVD by Skyview Productions with Lakeland Films is a unique aerial view of the railway line between Settle and Appleby.
Filmed by drone, the stunning landscape of the railway is filmed, following the line through the Yorkshire Dales and Northern Pennines. This new DVD is completely different to any cab ride or lineside film.
Starting at Settle, the film then heads up the line, 41 miles north to the market town of Appleby. Stopping at seven stations, Settle, Horton in Ribblesdale, Ribbleshead, Dent, Garsdale, Kirkby Stephen and Appleby with lineside clips to show off the history of each location.
Filmed during 2020, look out for the Rail Charter Services ‘Staycation Express’ across the Ribblehead Viaduct and a rare opportunity to see it by air.
This DVD has a run time of approx 1 hour 37 minutes.
