Back in 1980 I was the MO of HMS Glamorgan. We made an official visit to Cardiff, and while we were there a group of the engineering department took the ship’s landrover to Woodhams scrapyard, and I was invited along.

Here are some photos (scanned slides), so not of the best quality.

This one wouldn’t upload to my original post – it was a .tiff. So posted here as a jpg. It’s the most poignant of them all, but I’ve since learned that it was later purchased for restoration.

Both, really. It’s as though ‘the system’ doesn’t know I have the annual Plus membership. I’m currently looking in particular at the timings of Steam Dreams Excursion

I’m having problems getting timings. I signed up for the RailAdvent Plus membership today, but whatever I click on to see details just takes me to the “sign up for Plus membership” page! Very frustrating. I tried closing the tabs and the browser, and re-launching, but still no joy!

Any suggestions welcomed!
