In June 2025, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway held its highly anticipated Platinum Jubilee Weekend.
More than 25 locomotives feature in this 4-disc set, which features more than 4 hours of footage. Look out for Prince in its new livery, Merddin Emrys in its green livery, Chaloner and the 200 wheel freight train.
Extensive footage features, including cavalcades and footage of the “200 Wheels On The Cob” event, which saw 25 locomotives line up on the cob for Railway 200.
It was also nice to see locomotives that are no longer in service featured, including Earl of Merioneth and Russell.
Onboard footage also features, as well as a dual departure at Dduallt, something very rare indeed.
