Tens of thousands of Transport for London customers have been supported since the operator launched their ‘Baby on Board’ badge.
They are marking the 20th anniversary by introducing a new badge option, ‘Babies on Board’, to support those carrying multiple babies.
The new badge, designed for those expecting multiple children, can be ordered or collected and will help to represent a range of mothers, encouraging people to look up and offer seats to those who may need it.

TfL will be continuing its partnership with John Lewis, with customers able to pick up the badges at stores in London, and another partnership with UNIQLO will see the badge made into an embroidery element, which can be added to a range of items.
Badges can also be picked up from TfL Visitor Centres, such as those at King’s Cross and Liverpool Street, or ordered online.
“The Mayor and I want everyone to experience London to its fullest, and key to this is making public transport as accessible as possible, including asking Londoners to be mindful of those who may need a seat more than them. Celebrating 20 years of our free ‘Baby on Board’ badge is the perfect moment to reflect on just how much progress has been made opening up our capital’s public transport network as we continue building a fairer, safer, better London for everyone.”
Deputy Mayor for Transport, Seb Dance
