To celebrate 200 years of the modern railway, Alstom hosted The Greatest Gathering at their Litchurch Lane Works in Derby.
This was the World’s Largest Collection of Rolling Stock for the special anniversary and had everything from steam to diesel and electric, models to full size freight locomotives.
This DVD features footage from all three days of the event as well as the VIP invite-only event on the Thursday.
We see onboard footage, lots of the exhibits, a cab ride on a Class 93, a look inside the Inspiration train, speeches, and lots lots more.
All the footage was captured whilst we manned a RailAdvent stand at the event, and there was lots to see!
