The Bala Lake Railway is to bid farewell to Ex-Penrhyn Quarry Railway Hunslet, Nesta, later this month.

Nesta has been based at the BLR since October 2019, but will now move to a new home later this month.

Whilst it has not been confirmed where the new base will be, it has been confirmed that it is in the UK and the locomotive will be well looked after.

Nesta is due to be on display this February Half Term at the Llanuwchllyn Heritage Centre before being moved out of the shed ahead of the move to her new home.
