WHR : Past, Present & Future

Featuring a varied timetable of historic trains, the weekend will include Russell and other locos and carriages which worked on the WHR before closure.

Friday:
• 1920s Vintage Set with Baldwin ‘608’ : Two trips – Porthmadog to Beddgelert return.
• Col. Stephens Set with ‘Palmerston’ : Two trips – Porthmadog to Beddgelert return.
• Vintage Shuttles with Hunslet ‘1215’ and ‘Moelwyn’ : Three trips – Porthmadog to Pont Croesor return.
• Four Bogie Carriage set with ‘Russell’ and ‘Prince’ :
• Porthmadog to Beddgelert – ‘Russell’ joins at Pen-y-Mount and double-heads to Beddgelert.
• Two trips – Beddgelert to Pont Croesor return.
• Beddgelert to Porthmadog – ‘Russell’ uncouples at Pen-y-Mount.

Saturday:
• Standard ‘Yellow’ timetable service of two WHR carriage sets worked by NG/G16s.
• 1920s Vintage Train with Baldwin ‘608’ : Three trips – Porthmadog to Beddgelert return.
• Four Bogie Carriage set with ‘Russell’ and ‘Prince’ :
• Porthmadog to Beddgelert – ‘Russell’ joins at Pen-y-Mount and double-heads to Beddgelert.
• Two trips – Beddgelert to Pont Croesor return.
• Beddgelert to Porthmadog – ‘Russell’ uncouples at Pen-y-Mount .
