During the Easter holidays on the 30th March and 1st April, the Ravenglass Railway Museum will be hosting some fun activities.
Visitors will be able to decorate and take home a wooden Easter Egg donated by West Cumbria Woodturners.
There will be two sessions on both days, between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm, and a second one between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm.

Visitors do not need to book the sessions, and there is only a £2 minimum donation requested.
Later on in the holiday, on the 8th April, Author Chris Vine and Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway will be teaming up for Little Engineer Days, where families can visit the engineering workshop to learn about how locomotives work, visit the signal box and take a trip up the sidings.
Further information on their events can be found on their website.
“We’re excited, or should that be ‘egg-cited’, to offer this activity thanks to our volunteers who are giving up their time to staff the egg station and are very grateful to West Cumbria Woodturners for making the eggs for us”,
“It’s lovely to offer such a tactile activity, made from natural materials. I’m sure visitors of all ages will
Claire Winter-Moore from Ravenglass Railway Museum
enjoy creating their own designs”
