The Annual Heritage Railway Association Awards were held over the weekend, with many railways shortlisted for awards.
Among the nominations was the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, which was shortlisted in four categories.
They were Highly Commended in numerous categories and snagged a win in the ‘Event of the Year Award’, which they won for their ‘Railway Children Theatre Show’ in 2025.
They were Highly Commended in ‘Innovations of the Year’ for their Christmas Carol theatre production, ‘Team of the Year’ for their catering team, and ‘Railway of the Year’.
