The North Yorkshire Moors Railway has announced that A1 No. 60163 Tornado will be visiting them for around a month.

Tornado will operate both pre-booked and standard services as well as North Yorkshire Pullman services.

On the 15/16/17/22/23/24/29/30 and 31st August, Tornado will operate the 10:55 from Pickering and the 16:40 from Grosmont, as well as the 12:35 from Grosmont, which will be the Pullman dining service.

Visitors can also book, seat-allocated return services between Pickering and Grosmont on additional dates in September.

Tickets for travel on the 4, 5, 11 & 12 September are not yet available but will be priced at £30 for adults and £15 for children.
