Dovetail Games has announced its plans to release the latest edition of its Train Sim World series, Train Sim World 6.

The latest game will be released in 2025, with full details to be confirmed during Dovetail Direct, which is set to be held on the 26th August 2025.

Whilst details are not known yet, Dovetail has confirmed that the Free Starter Pack returns for Train Sim World 6, allowing existing players (with compatible content) or new players to start playing the game at no cost.

New bundles will be available and Train Sim World 6 will support all the platforms that TSW5 supports.

Performance and optimisation will remain a key focus for the dev team.
