Barrow Hill Roundhouse Railway Centre has announced that its October Gala tickets are now on sale.
The Gala ‘Barrow Hill Presents…’ will take place between the 10th and 12th October and will also star ‘Flying Scotsman’ for their Railway 200 celebrations.
Alongside Flying Scotsman, other guest locomotives include LMS 3F Jinty 16440 and a Class 55 Deltic.
In the coming weeks, they will be announcing other guest locomotives and their complete lineup for the Gala.
During the Gala, the premiere of the play, ‘I am George Stephenson’, will be shown. The play has been created by the people of Graves Youth Theatre in Sheffield, alongside Paul Whitfield.
The play celebrates Chesterfield’s close links with the famous railway engineer.
Tickets for the gala can be found here, and further information can be found on Barrow Hill’s website.
